Hello Ladies and Gents and welcome to the Rummage!

I am really excited to be sharing my music with you all. I have always been told that I act like an 80-year-old man stuck in a 20 year old’s body. You will probably see that in the way I write and my selections. While my music is very current and funky, I love being able to find things that bridge the gap between the old guys who have been listening to jazz forever and the newbies who need something cool to get them hooked on jazz. My articles on the Rummage should be just the right mixture of eclectic artists with strong influences and new renditions of the standards. I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do, and feel free to throw any suggestions for reviews my way. Share the musical love with the rest of us.

So grab a tall glass of wine and lounge in a loveseat or put on your dancing shoes no matter if you’re a heeler, a smudger, or an Oliver Twist because these artists and albums are gonna wanna make you hop, rub, and snap those fingers. Enjoy!

Yours in musical fellowship, Colin
